How you ever heard a song and it brings your mind to a time in you life, that you just have to stop what you're doing, listen and remember? I do! I have quite a few, one is Smash Mouth's Walking On The Sun. This memory came from the time I had my little Justy and I had it packed with 8 boys including me. I had my two brothers Matt and Tom, my cousins Randy and Ray, Randy's friend Jared and boys from my ward. We were heading back from a youth dance. We were listening to the radio and talking about the dance. Someone in the back said to turn up the radio. So I did and everyone started to sing along, this was a total Wayne's World moment.
Another song comes from Mariah Carey's One Sweet Day. This memory comes from my Grandfather. He loved Mariah Carey before he passed on. He would invite my to come with him to go to the dairy to get some milk and ice cream, then we would take Mountian Road home in the Kit Car or his La Baron (with the "Hair by Chemo" license plate). When I was with him, we would always listen to Mariah. One of his favorite songs was One Sweet Day, now I can't listen to the song without crying.
